Get Ready to Celebrate the 4th of July on Cape Cod

Cape Cod'r Fourth of July Blog Post featuring Bae Breeze and Ocean Break

It's almost time to celebrate the 4th of July. With beautiful beaches, sparkling waters, and some of the best events there is no place better to celebrate than the Cape.

We've pulled together some "must-haves" for the holiday weekend.

GET READY FOR THE BEACH:

First, grab a hat from All Good. The Cape Escape hat goes perfectly with the Cape Cod'r Logo Tee.

Next, you'll need a beach chair to keep you comfy while you sunbathe or watch fireworks. The designs from Cape Cod Beach Chair company are not only comfortable but heavy-duty enough to last years.

Then, you are going to need a Cape Life cooler for your Cod'rs and snacks. The backpack design is perfect for the beach with a cooler on the bottom and a mesh top for your gear. Grab a few koozies to keep your Cod'r ice cold!

Finally, protect your family from those nasty ticks and mosquitos with Cape Cod All Natural Spray Repellent.

GET READY TO EAT:

For a quick bite for lunch or dinner, grab some fried clams or a lobster roll from Moby Dick's Restaurant. Or, grab everything you need for a clam bake on the beach from Backside Bakes.

When you get too hot and need something to cool you down, grab a homemade ice cream from Cape Cod Creamery.

Check out one of the Cape's Farmer's Markets. You can get everything from fruits and veggies to honey and fresh fish. Grab what you need for a beach picnic!

GET READY TO CELEBRATE:

There are fireworks from the first to the fourth throughout the Cape. For a complete list, check this post from Cape Days.

There are parades from one end of the Cape to the other. Here is a list of where and when you can view a 4th of July parade.

Travel to Falmouth to ride the Carousel of Light. The brightly colored hand-carved horses are open from 11 am to 8 pm starting July 1st.

Walk the Yarmouth Sand Sculpture trail and enjoy 33 family-friendly sculptures. Trail maps are available at the Visitor Center located at 424 Route 28 in West Yarmouth.

Enjoy the 4th on Cape Cod and don't forget to share a cold Cod'r when you toast the USA!
